Bar Nine – 3515 Helms Ave, Culver City, CA 90232 barnine.us
Nicely designed and spacious cafe and roastery with a really interesting coffee machine setup, anyone who has been here before will understand what I mean. Nice and friendly staff and plenty of people studying and working around the place. Matched with top quality coffee, it’s for sure a place I will be returning to.
🚗 – On the street parking, check for signs in the residential areas to avoid tickets.
📶 – Free wifi, ask the barista for the password.
🔌 – limited sockets on the walls but some available.
🕗 – 8-5 daily.
🍴 – various pastries and a brunch menu.
☕️ – Splendid hot and cold coffee and a selection of teas.
When you’re a kid, you color with reckless abandon. You color outside the lines. You color however you feel. Blue elephants, purple trees, red bears, green oceans — it’s all good. As you get older, though, everyone tells you to stay inside the lines, to color everything just like you see it. You end up painting by numbers — whether you actually paint or whether you write or sing or dance or act or direct. I think you should create what you feel. Create outside the lines. I want to watch green oceans and red bears. I’d love to listen to purple trees. And I long for blue elephants.
I’ve drank A LOT of coffee since landing in LA, this tops the lot so far…
